Rev. Michael and Dr. Doretha O’Quinn are the authors of the compilation anthology book of 40+ Years & Still Loving Marriage, and have been married for 47 years. They are ordained ministers in the Foursquare denomination and have served as staff pastors and youth pastors. Rev. Michael has served as Director of the Men’s ministry and Sports ministry. Dr. Doretha aka Dr. D. is an educational consultant, longtime University administrator and professor, author, and award-winning educator. They recognized, through many marriage counseling sessions, the need for young couples, aspiring and singles to understand the hard work of an enduring marriage, not a fantasy of “happily ever after” without a commitment to the marriage covenant and heavy lifting.
